Waste paper (e.g. magazines, newspapers, advertising materials and more) is used for the production of tissue paper, newspapers, printed forms and documents, packaging made from paper, cardboard and corrugated cardboard. Used paper, pasteboard and cardboard can undergo the process of production and recycling several times. On average, fibres can undergo the recycling process about six times. In case fibres are too short, they are discarded together with paint residues and other contaminants. Waste materials from the paper industry (rejects) are energetically recycled for the most part.
